Frank Glenn Metz, Sr. went home to be with Jesus on Saturday,
October 8, 2022, at the age of 92. He was a loving father, grandfather,
great-grandfather and great great-grandfather. He was born in Baton
Rouge, LA on September 26, 1930. He was a graduate of Baker High
School and a Korean War Veteran. He worked for Turner Industries as a
supervisor for many years until his retirement. After retirement he began
new hobbies, such as, making beautiful furniture for fun. He was
married to the love of his life Bula Cox Metz for 56 years until she
preceded him in death in 2006. He was preceded in death by son,
Frank Glenn Metz, Jr. and grandson, Ricky Metz, II.
He is survived by his sons, Roddie Metz (Shari), Randy Metz (Gladys),
Ricky Metz (Linda); daughter, Sue Hibbard (Randy); grandsons, Chase
Metz (AnnGelina), Travis Metz (Cecily), Erick Metz, Mark Metz (Tanya),
Brandon Hibbard (Kelly), Josh Hibbard (Kristen), Justin Hibbard (Jami),
Daniel Hibbard (Jessica), and Baret Hibbard (Jasmine);
granddaughters, Richelle Paige (Von), Angela Phillips (Brittany), Katie
Metz Glenn (David), and Melissa Metz Windham (Peyton). He has
numerous great and great-great grandchildren that he enjoyed.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 9-11 at Central Funeral
Home 9995 Hooper Road, Central, LA with service at 11:00am. Burial
will immediately follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetary in
Brookhaven, Mississippi.
