Robert P. Butler of Centereach died on September 21, 2012. Robert is the beloved husband of Marilyn and loving father of Robert and Steven. Robert is the dear step father of David Whitehead and his wife Karen and the late Donna Stancek. He is the cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Heather and Katie. He is also survived by his sister in law Wilma Thibault. Robert was employed by Macy's for many years and was an avid golfer. The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, New York. There will be a Religious service Tuesday Evening in the funeral home and Wednesday Morning at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Centereach. Interment will follow in Calverton National Cemetery.
