Muriel Sarah Brandt

Muriel was born on May 29, 1926 in Greenpoint, NY and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie Jockel. She was a woman with a fun-loving spirit, big heart, warm smile and infectious laugh. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Muriel also enjoyed cruising and getting together with her friends. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met and was one of the last of a generation that really made us what we are.

Muriel is survived by her son Martin Brandt and his wife Gerise, daughters Pegi Brandt and Debi Brandt, grandson Jason Conklin, granddaughter Dana Siano and great grandson Jayden Siano. Muriel is predeceased by her brothers Joseph Jockel and her sister Verna Parker.

A visitation for Muriel will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. Interment, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933.
