God needed an angel and took Joey, as he was known as a child. He sat behind me in grade school and I remember his hand in a cast and how  smart he was.  I remember when he helped me in school when I had problems reading.  I am so glad he had children to keep his legacy alive. Sending prayers to your family.

I am so sorry Dawn and family. This news is very heart  breaking. He was a wonderful person loved by many. He is with my pop now,who he had some good times with. Lucky fin you help Joey transition but stop,calling each other names up there lol.  Rip joe    Dawn you need anything I'm here for you. my dad helped you guys as he would want me to if i could.......Xo.

My heart is broken. I shall always remember all the wonderful shows, hanging out in the dead end, laughter as well as the sadness, and all the private talks we had. Days of hanging out, visits, you-me-and Dawn at the beach that day, and road trips. I remember trying to convince you that it was ok to come to my home, you wondering what my folks would think, and me telling you that they would say long hair and tats you must be here for Jo Ann. I remember the first time you finally did come over and all those concerns were put behind you. Also what with us both being night owls, all the late night phone chats. I will greatly miss you my friend. You were a big part of my life the past some sort of 30 or so years. I know that you never felt that you exactly was part of this existence on this plane. But angels so rarely do fit in here. I hope you realize how loved you were and what an impact you made on so many lives while you were with us. As is often the case in these situations, those who are left behind are left with so many unanswered questions. However, you and I both know that you just needed to spread your wings and soar even higher than ever before. Until we meet again my friend. My deepest sympathy to the Donoghue & Miller families. Thinking of you and all those who truly loved you more than you ever believed. The only thing to ease their pain is to know you are no longer in pain. Thoughts and memories of you will always be bittersweet but you were your own man, talented and pure of heart. God rest your soul.
