I will always remember Janine for her compassion and love for people and animals.  I miss her loving influence in my life and the greatest gift she gave me was unconditional acceptance.  I still can't believe she is gone!  Janine I love you and I hope I can make you proud!

I knew Janine for many years through mutual social circles. She was always bubbly, and friendly. Janine “beat to her own drum.” She was so unique. She made her own mark on the world, and touched many people, and will not be forgotten. I’m so glad to have known you, Janine. I’m sorry you had to leave the world too soon. 

Janine was a kind soul. I did not know her well, but whenever we chatted I felt like she genuinely cared. 

Janine and I were good friends for 30 years. Janine was kind, hard working  and loved animals. She loved  Ziggy’s Legacy Rescue (my sisters) and would always share the dogs available for adoption. She was also generous and donated her beautiful beaded bracelets that she made to them.  Sometimes life gets busy, but Janine always took the time to call me so we could  chat and catch up. I’m going to miss those calls. She  was tiny in stature, but big on personality and she made me laugh. Life wasn’t always easy for Janine and  some people were downright mean to her, but she was strong and  persevered. despite their cruelty. Im so fortunate that I got the chance to tell her I loved her. I miss her terribly and I’m so sad, but  I know that one day we will meet again. Rest In Peace my friend......

I am a volunteer who works in ASU. I have known Janine for many years and helped her with various jobs.  Janine would always ask me to help her make the beds for the next day.  Of course, she would always joke “Only  when you are finished helping Kathy”. I would always tell her - Only If I can get to it and most of the time I did.   You will always be remembered fondly and I pray that you are at peace in Heaven.  I will miss you my friend and don’t worry I will continue to make the beds and stock the unit. 💔💔💔💔

I knew Janine in high school, and saw her again 2 years ago at our reunion. I remember her as very energetic, friendly, and bubbly. She and I also connected on Facebook, as we both bead. I enjoyed seeing her jewelry posts.

My deepest sympathies go out to her family and her close friends. 

I had the privilege of meeting Janine 30 years ago.  Before Matt was even born!  We were close for a number of years then lost touch but reconnected by a chance meeting one night at the selden animal hospital.  We immediately resumed our wonderful friendship !  Janine was a very gifted nursing assistant. Her patients got only the best care!  She was always there for me with encouraging words when I was having any difficulties and her calming acceptance was a great gift to me.  To Bill and Matt there are no words I can say.   Just know I am here.  Janine died as a hero and I am honored to be her friend! I wish I could find more words. I love u Janine!  I promise to make u proud! ❤

Our family met Janine through Cara H.  My mother had suffered 4 strokes and an onset of dementia so I moved her in with us.  Janine took care of my mother for about 2 years on the weekends, and she spent mom’s last day with us.  I honestly could never have done it without her.. and my mother loved her.  We all loved her.  She had a special gift with working with the elderly that very little ppl possess, and the medical community has just lost an angel on earth.   Her spouse and son were her world.   She was one of the nicest women I have ever met with a heart of gold whom never had a negative thing to say about anyone or anything.  Our whole family is heart broken of hearing of her passing.   RIP Janine... you were a true angel on earth and I know you are  wearing a sparkly halo and wings in heaven.      You will never be forgotten here on earth.

Deepest condolences to her family. It is a shock to lose such a lively spirit so young. I also met Janine at Udall Jr High, and we spoke on the phone several weeks ago after we lost another dear friend from the Udall group in December. We made plans to catch up in person when I could ever make it down to the Island--so sad this will never happen. Though we haven't met in person in all this time, her personality always came shining through in our Facebook friendship. She cared deeply for the welfare of animals, missing children, and her friends and family. Such a great sense of humor--I've probably shared hundreds of her positive, funny posts on my page. So sorry to hear of Janine’s passing.  I first met Janine at Udall Junior High, she was a very sweet girl.  I’m glad we got to reunite at our 30th reunion and that we became “Facebook Friends”.  I got a glimpse into your life and how much you meant to those around you.  You will be missed by many Janine.  Rest In Peace. I am so sad about Janine’s passing , I worked with her at St Catherine’s for many years.   When I moved to Florida we remained my good friends . She vacation at my house   . I have great memories of her. I will miss her but the things I will miss the most  is her big heart, her smile, and her kindness. She was a person who gave her heart to everyone  and asked for nothing return. I love you Janine. You will be missed my friend. 🙏🏻❤️🦋

My heart is so broken but its pieces go out to you both.  Janine and I shared the same birthday - 10 years difference - me being older.  We also shared a whole lot of love and fun  over our long friendship.  I will miss my "sister" very much.   I pray for your strength and a swiftly healed heart. 🙏❤️
