Suzanne D. Walker Kane, 56, of Deep River died unexpectedly at her home on September 20, 2013. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Leonard & Ruth (Weiland) Walker.Suzanne was a 1975 graduate of Westbrook High School, she worked for many years at Whelen Enginieering in Chester doing light assembly work, she will be most remembered as an animal lover, gardener, bird enthusiast, especially cardinals and a devoted and loving mother. Suzanne is survived by her husband James M. Kane, her devoted children; Michael S. Henry of E. Haddam, Jamie W. Henry and his wife Crystal of Westbrook, Trisha Henry of Westbrook & Bryana Gedney of Westbrook .She is also survived by her brother Ronald J. Walker of Ledyard, nieces Michele Fitterman, Lisa Vitale & Dawn Walker Marshall all of Westbrook and a nephew Stephen (Andre) Walker Jr. of Idaho. Suzanne was predeceased by her brother Stephen Walker. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook. A Prayer Service will follow at 7pm. Interment will be private at Riverview Cemetery in Essex.
