Raymond Francis Lynch

Raymond Francis Lynch, 88, formerly of Westbrook, died at Gladeview Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Old Saybrook, Connecticut on July 23, 2023. Raymond was born in Hartford, Connecticut on January 30, 1935. Son of the late William and Eleanor Lynch. Husband of predeceased wife Geraldine May Lynch, beloved father of Diane Lynch of Branford, William (Debbie) Lynch of Salem, Lorraine (Jeff) Snelgrove of Westbrook, Joanne Eschbach of East Lyme, Michael Lynch of Oakdale and the late Raymond F. Lynch Jr. of Westbrook. Raymond is also survived by his grandchildren: Melanie, Erich, Jeremie, Jenna, Jamie, Christopher, Stephen, Thomas and the late Shawn Jurczyk. He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Dakota, Mackenzie, Jordyn, Riley, Raelynn, Brody, Lilly, Hannah, Claire and Emilia. Raymond was predeceased by brothers, William Netolicky, Edward Lynch and his sister, Josephine McLean. Raymond served in the United States Army from 1955-1961. Raymond was also a photographer in the Army and then continued that hobby after his discharge. He was an avid golfer, and also played the drums as a hobby and was in several local bands. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 222 McVeagh Road in Westbrook on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:00AM.
