Carol M. Voigt

August 16, 1943 - November 25, 2023

Carol Mack Voigt passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023, at the age of 80 after a long illness. She is survived by her devoted husband, William (Bill) Voigt, who was by her side every day. She is further survived by 3 daughters, Cathy Murphy (Robert), Cari Christman (Jason), Christy Bernard, step-daughter Amber Voigt, and step-son Erik Voigt (Starr). She also has 8 grandchildren whom she adored. She was pre-deceased by a granddaughter and her youngest sister.

Carol was raised in Trumbull and chose Old Saybrook to raise her family. She spent over 50 years in Old Saybrook, many of them active in town politics and with her church.

Her burial will be privately held at the State Veteran Cemetery in Middletown. A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at the Westbrook Congregational Church, 1166 Boston Post Road in Westbrook on November 29th at 12:00 PM.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
