Wayne L. Jensen

In loving memory of Wayne Lyle Jensen, born April 16, 1948, and entered into Everlasting Life January 23, 2012. Wayne is survived by his wife, Linda, two children, Jim Jensen and Laura Jensen Bess, one sister, Nancy Dragich, two brothers, Rob Jensen & Gary Snyder, & seven grandchildren, Jared, Joshua, Jeremiah, Leah, Jimmy, Jacob and Kaitlyn; preceded in death by his brother, Jim Jensen.

Originally from Superior, Wisconsin, Wayne moved to Colorado during his high school years and attended Lincoln High in Denver. He met his beloved wife, Linda, in high school and they married in 1967. Wayne became a successful businessman and founded Carpet Mill Outlet Stores/Fashion Carpets in 1974. As President for 37 years, he built a very successful Colorado-based business. He retired in the Fall of 2011.

Wayne is a much loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, brother and friend to many. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family and loved his annual fishing trips in Canada.

As a devout Christian, Wayne was a strong supporter of the Denver Rescue Mission and many area churches. He touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed. Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill in Centennial, CO. Interment Chapel Hill. Donations can be made to Denver Rescue Mission, P.O.
