Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and daughter. She enjoyed songbirds, the beauty of the mountains, her family and their interests. Most of all she was a follower of Jesus and enjoyed sweet fellowship with her savior. She had a lovely voice and sang in the church choir in addition to solos, ducts and trios for many years prior to moving to the western slope in 1993. She will be dearly missed by: George Hansen, her husband of 71 years; their son, Chris Hansen and his wife Carin; their grandson, Craig Hansen and his wife Kari; their grandson, Casie Hansen and his wife Gracie; their grandson, Hesse Hansen and his wife Jenna; their granddaughter, shannon Parrish and her husband Brandon, and their five great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Martha Guth; her brothers, Gordon Guth and Richard Guth; her sister, Kathleen Larson and Shirley Ashlock; and two of her sons, Allan Hansen and Keith Hansen.
Services will be held on Monday, June 6th at 10:00 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery. Although flowers are appreciated, should you choose to make a donation, the family is requesting these be made to Frontier School of the Bible where their long-time friend and former pastor, Charlie Hornick currently teaches.
