Thelma Laura Timmons

Thelma Timmons was born on April 14th, 1921 in Las Animas, Colorado to parents David Daze and Lorene Daze (Shue). She passed away on November 11th, 2016 in Thornton, Colorado. She was married for 40 years to her husband Ray Timmons (d;1981) and they were blessed to have three children. Thelma worked at Ridge Hospital for 20 years and was dedicated to all the children she cared for.

She is survived by her 3 children, Ralph Timmons; Lorraine White (Bill); Elaine Smith (Bob) and grandchildren Tammy White; Lori Martinez (Jolene); Tina Riendeau (Mike); Tracy Boone (Reid d;2012); Dalen Smith; Sherie Williard (DeVane); Monty McLachlan (Nancy) many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other adopted family and friends.

Thelma will be deeply missed by all who loved her and will be forever in our hearts and in our minds. We Love You and Miss You!

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 9am to 10 am at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121 with a funeral service starting at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Thelma we ask that any donations offered be made to The Children’s Hospital Foundation (www.childrenscoloradofoundation.org) or Wish of a Lifetime which is a foundation that supports veterans and their wishes as a thank you for their service to our country. (www.wishofalifetime.org). These were causes near and dear to her heart.
