Steven Eugene Brown

Steven Eugene Brown was born October 18th, 1980, in St. Paul Minnesota to Kim Robinson and Harvey Brown. David Wilbert entered his life at the age of 6. At the age of 7, Steven moved to Denver, Colorado with his mother, Kim, and step-father David. Steven attended Denver and Aurora public schools. He later earned his GED in 2009. Steven worked in multitude of areas from customer service, food service and construction.

Steven’s hobbies included collecting hot wheels, drawing and creating music. He was a self-proclaimed rapper and artist. While attending Manuel High School Steven met his Life Long Best Friend, Dana Leftwich, after showing him which bus to ride on the first day of school. With a shared passion for music they began cultivating their own. In 2005 they establish a group named “Special Forces."

In 2007 Steven met Angelica Velasco, they later married in 2010 and welcomed their son into the world Steven JR “Sunshine of their life”. Steven created a remarkable and unbreakable bond with the Velasco family: Mama (Cristina), Dad (Desi), Papi (Dario), Sister (Joy).

Steven had a contagious smile, larger than life personality, and a trademark sense of humor. He was world renowned for not holding back and telling it like it is. Steven didn't take any prisoners when it came to his joking antics. His quick witted sense of humor brought everyone together and left everyone cracking up. Humor was his gift and he eagerly shared it with the world. Along his journey Steven touched so many lives and mattered to far more people than he ever realized. He was family oriented and always wanted for all that he loved to come together. Our family has truly been blessed to have had a kind hearted, beautiful soul enter our lives.

Steven gained his wings on April 18, 2020 and is now exploring the unknown leaving behind Son; Steven Jr, Mother of Steven Jr; Angelica Velasco.
