Reedy, Ruth, If you judge someone's life by the number of people they touch, then what a rich, beautiful, rewarding and unforgettable life Ruth Mary (McCrabb) Reedy (95) lived. She passed away on February 24, 2012. Born in Dayton, Ohio into a family with 7 children, she was a singer, a violinist in the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, she operated a Christmas shop called "The Elf Shop," prepared homemade foods for Reedy's Gifts & Goodies, wrote 2 cookbooks, and was honored, along with her husband Bob, as Colorado Seniors of the Year. Ruth is survived by her husband of 71 years, 2 sons, 3 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren. Forever a giver, the last thing she gave us was a song. We will always love you and never forget you, Ruth. You live on inside us.
