Roberta was one of the pillars of my upbringing. Partially, it was because of her influence at church, but also on non-church days. Living only three blocks from the church parsonage where I grew up, I spent countless days at the Huff home with her son Scott.  There wasn't a day that I can remember that she didn't show kind hospitality to me and would typically pop the top off a bottle of Pepsi served over ice for me to enjoy. It's amazing how little acts of kindness can become a big memory.

Roberta also used her influence to help me get my first real job at Lerner's Shops Roadside where she worked for several years.  Her managerial abilities and kind demeanor helped me feel right at home there.

I'm now close to retirement and the years have gone by, and I don't remember all the little things she did. But her being a part of my life made me a better person. Roberta will be missed by all who knew her and I look forward to the great reunion in Heaven where I can thank her for her touch in my life.

Roberta became my mom when I married Scott in 2017. We grew so close and had many wonderful memories especially after moving in with her 3 years ago. We were able to help her in many ways and were blessed by her love and quality time together. I'm so grateful for her prayers and love. She'll be greatly missed. The house is empty without her here. Praise God for her and all of her love! I'm so glad she is in eternity with Jesus now even though we miss her well be reunited one day.

Roberta was such a breath of fresh air and encouragement in a time that God was really working in and around me in ways I've never experienced before.  She would encourage me to speak up knowing that I was hearing from God. She shared books with me for guidance and inspiration. One being Prison to Praise by Merlyn Carothers. I have continued to purchase this book to hand out to friends and others around me.  Roberta was a precious gift that radiated so much love for Christ and others. I'm thankful to have met her. She made a huge impact on my life in such a short amount of time. Roberta, you are loved!

I have fond memories of Roberta.  I recall how she loved her flower gardens, especially the Poppies at the house on Grape St.  She always made me feel welcome and treated me like one of her own.  Roberta will be missed.  Sandy, Karen and Scott, if there is anything I can do for you please let me know.  I miss y’all.  My thoughts and prayers are with you as her life is celebrated.
