Robert John Phelan, born August 4th, 1939, in the Bronx, NYC to John (Jack) and Amelia Phelan of St John’s, Newfoundland, Canada, passed into the light in Parker, CO on August 11th, 2022.
He is survived by his beloved children, Steven (wife Diana) and Suzanne (Husband Jim Lewis), his grandchildren Eric, Elisabeth (Husband Brett Johnson), and Shania, and his brother John (wife Mary).
He is retired as a 20-year Air Force Major. He also served as a Facilities Manager with the Arizona Health Department and for 9 years. Bob was a Realtor in Scottsdale area and a Scottsdale Collectible Show promoter until his passing. He was a founder of Phoenix coin club and the Scottsdale Tortoise Club. He was also a loyal member of the Scottsdale Elks Lodge 2148. Bob’s motto was “any job worth doing, is worth doing well.” He loved his life, responsibility, and travels. He loved his two former wives, Ute Webster and Jane Lange and his family.
