Peter Donald Sudduth (always went by Peter), was born in Denver, Colorado, October 19, 1987, entering the world first before his twin brother Gabriel. Peter enjoyed building things, especially working with electronics. He always had wires and gadgets in his room, much to his mom’s distress. He loved being outdoors, with lacrosse and snowboarding key activities through high school. His interest in gadgets and driving led him to a recent career as an over-the-road truck driver, earning the Commercial Driver License in March of 2019.
Peter was the little boy everyone absolutely got a kick out of. He was always laughing. He loved the go-cart, especially as he came down the street with a police car behind him. Peter was the young man who stopped in the middle of the street to rescue a small dog that turned out to be someone’s show dog that got loose. Peter also stopped traffic in the middle of a busy intersection to help a stranded car who turned out to be the Arapahoe County’s District Attorney who also was very grateful and told Peter he was a natural first responder. At the age of 25, Peter sat up all night to make sure our 16 year old cat, Ginger, was comfortable and did not die alone, which was very endearing to us.
Peter was preceded in death by his brother Lucas, and leaves behind his father and mother, Stan and Cindy, his oldest brother Benjamin, his fraternal twin Gabriel (his wife Janelle), and his youngest brother, Jacob (his wife Kara), as well as 4 nephews, two nieces, with a third niece expected in July.
In remembrance of Peter’s joy of church summer camp (Camp IdRaHaJe, in Bailey Colorado), a memorial fund has been set up at IdRaHaJe.org, click on the Donate button and you will find a memoriam fund set up under Peter’s name. This memorial will provide camp scholarships for those wishing to attend, but do not have the means to do so.
Peter, you will be missed; enjoy your new-found peace,
Your Loving Family
