I remember Paul as a fraternity brother at Delta Tau Delta at OU in Norman.  He was a wonderful guy and an amazing artist, designing and creating fine art plus utilitarian items, such as unique Harley head lamps and 15 foot high corporate symbols. My deepest condolences to your family. I just found out last night and am so sorry I missed his services. Paul was one NICE, TALENTED MAN! I grew up on the same street and his mother took care of me as a little child. I went all the way through school with Phil and Leslie and was actually in Leslie's wedding. I will always consider them family and am so sorry for their loss.

Our sympathy to Mary Jane and Paul's family. Paul was a talented and innovative craftsman. John recalls him with fondness and respect.

I will miss Paul so much.  We became good friends about six years ago, but I felt as though I've known him all of life.  He was one of the kindest and nicest people I've ever known, and one of the most gifted artists I've ever met.  He will always be with me.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Jane and all of Paul's family.

Wishing the entire Cornett family peace and comfort. Paul obviously lit many lives, and I am honored to have known him.

So many memories of Paul.  A roommate in Oklahoma City after college.  A terrific athlete who pitched on our fast pitch softball team that I coached.
We rode our motorcycles on weekends.  Paul did art work for United Founders Life for me in the real estate department.  Paul was best man in my wedding in 1973.  His skill as a craftsman was demonstrated when he designed and created bronze trophies for four years in the mid 90's for Ken Stabler's celebrity golf tournament in Mobile, AL.  He even designed and built a car.   In the mid 80's in Plano, TX area, we met for lunch weekly,  took  our sons camping, riding go-carts, etc.   Paul's passing will be in my thoughts for all time.

Paul, Phil, Leslie and parents Roy and Jo Cornett were our neigbors in OKC for many years.  Some one in our family of five were with one of them daily, so we were very close.  Paul designed the business cards and stationery for my first business venture in OKC in 1971.........very talented artist.  I am saddened to hear of his passing, my condolences to his family.

I am very saddened to learn about Paul's passing.  I worked with him many, many years ago at "The Art House" in Oklahoma City, and I just thought he was a super guy.  My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you.

A loss of a great talent.  Artist, sculptor, designer and a boon companion. He was a friend for decades and a wit of rare talent.  As long as we love him he will never die. He leaves a giant emptiness.

I am greatly saddend with this bad news.  I have known Paul since the 4th grade.  Played baseball and basketball with him for several years.  Enjoyed being with his family and being coached by his father for years.  Paul's mother actually saved my life.  I'm alive now with a wife, children and grandchildren because Paul's mother more than cared about me.  I last visited with Paul in July and September of 2005.  Mary I wished I had come to visit you and Paul after he and I talked.  I thought of him often and will miss being able to communicate with him or come visit you.  I will have you in my prayers during these days before you.  I know what grief is also ... I recently lost two of my four boys.  Pain will always be there for me ... I know it is for you as well. I pray for the Spirit of God to give you comfort during these times before you.
