Michelle “Micki” Murrain of Centennial, Colorado passed away Monday November 30, 2020. Michelle was born August 12, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Thomas and Roberta Hartwell. The same year she was born her parents moved to the Petrified forest in Arizona.
In 1959 the family moved to Phoenix where she would attend school and graduate from Maryvale High School in 1975.
After high school she spent a year in La Crosse, Wisconsin before moving back to Phoenix. She spent many years working for Patton & Sons and the Petrified Forest Museum Association. She gave birth to her daughter Marisa in Tempe, Arizona on April 2, 1985.
She moved to Colorado in 1987 to be closer to her parents who had moved there previously. She met her husband Paul in 1993 and their two little families became one big family when they were married on October 31st 1996.
She was a huge Broncos fan and loved to travel. Exploring and discovering new casinos was one of her passions. She had an abundant amount of friends as no person she met was a stranger to her because she made friends with everyone she met, always having a smile and a compliment for everyone who crossed her path. She valued her family more than anything and considered her grandkids her greatest blessing.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Roberta Hartwell. She is survived by her husband Paul Murrain, her daughter (from her first marriage) Marisa Pearson (Jeffrey), her two step daughters Trisha Murrain and Jennifer Wauthier (Jeffrey), seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Nathanial, Emilia, Chance, Maya, Gabriella, and Benjamin; siblings, twin Michael Hartwell (Christi), Laurie Llanos (Nelson), and William Hartwell; and several nieces and nephews.
