Mary Lewellen Koons, age 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep November 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Elmer E. Koons and her grandson James M. Koons. She is survived by her two sons, Roger (Ruleen) Koons and Steven (Robin) Koons; grandson, Brice (Jamie)Koons, granddaughters, Megan (Geoff) VanCampen, Melissa Koons and Stephanie (James M.) Koons; great grandsons, Kyran and Mason and great granddaughters, Madison and Victoria; one sister, Cora (James D.) Koons. Mary dedicated her entire life to her family, their upbringing and spreading the word of God.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Residents Fund of Someren Glen and sent in care of Someren Glen.
