Delores was born on August 11, 1928 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to George and Lillian (Calhoun) Helms. She moved to Colorado in 1951. On October 26, 1952, Delores married Ronald F. Ashlock Sr. They raised two sons, Ronald Jr. and Walter, and two daughters, Denise and Sharon.
Delores was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Jr. and her grandson, Zachary Ian Ashlock. She is survived by her husband Ronald, her three children, Walter (Debra) Ashlock, Denise (Larry) Clapp, Sharon (Clint) Anthis, her step-children, Martin (Linda) Ashlock, Eileen (Ashlock) Allison, grandchildren; Justin Ashlock, Shawn Ashlock, Scott Ashlock, Darren Gilley, Damon Gilley, Melanie (Ashlock) Johnson, Shannon (Cote) Martinez, Andrea (Cote) Gatchis and Bethney Anthis, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, Colorado. Visitation begins at 12:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm.
