In the final days of July, while sleeping peacefully in her tent in Pine, Colorado, Lilly Mae Eaton was delivered by a host of angels into the arms of the Lord. She was 34.
Lilly was born on March 29, 1989. She was a sweet, kind and compassionate soul who loved animals and the natural world. In her younger years, Lilly delighted all of us with her love, smile and playfulness. She had a generous heart and loved caring for others.
For the past 20 years Lilly struggled with mental illness, which robbed her innocence. Lilly’s condition was challenging for both her and for those of us who knew and loved her.
We gratefully remember who Lilly truly was, and we take solace in knowing that her kind soul is now free.
