Lillian was born Tuesday, November 10, 1925 to Doris and Francis Day. Upon graduating from Union High School, Westminster, CO., Lillian worked at CEM company in downtown Denver. She married her beloved husband, Robert Thomas Brink on May 25, 1946 in Westminster, CO. Lillian became a home maker, raised five children then worked with her husband Bob, at Denver Florists Federal Credit Union as office Manager from 1967 – 1989 when she retired.
Lillian and Bob shared President responsibilities in the Aurora Square Pegs square dance club for over 10 years then were elected to the Presidency of the Denver Area President Council of square dancing. They square danced in different cities and several countries around the world. Lillian’s love of travel took her to many countries including Ireland, UK, Egypt, Hong Kong, New Zealand. Russia and Peru.
While traveling and dancing brought Lillian great joy, nothing compared to the love for her family. Lillian will be dearly missed by her daughter, Cynthia Dawn Brink Watson; son, Robert Christopher Brink and wife Bonnie Brink; son, Rodney Ernest Brink and wife Rexanne Brink; daughter Robin Sherry Brink Unsworth and husband David Unsworth: son, Timothy Francis Brink and wife Joyce Brink; her grandchildren, Dennis Clemons, Matthew Brink, Melissa Smith, Justin Brink, Nathanial Brink, Amy McCluskie, Jonathan Brink and Nicholas Brink; her great grandchildren, Gage Clemons, Jacob Clemons, Ethan Clemons, Jaden Smith, Morgen Smith, Weston McCluskie, Odell Brink, Tanner McCluskie, Jackson Clemons, Waylon Brink, Kit and Bo Brink, Piper McCluskie and her siblings, Barbara Anderson, Richard Day and Carol Ranum. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Robert Thomas Brink and brother Gale Day.
A small grave side service will be held Monday April 27, 2020 at 3pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery with a memorial service scheduled for a later date when restrictions have been lifted for gatherings. Link to attend the graveside service :
