She is survived by her son, Steven Stout and daughter, Sarah, (Peter), Eli and Claire Galle of Castle Rock, Colorado. She is also survived by her brother, Mitchell Dunshee of Fresno, California and nephews Brenton Dunshee of San Francisco, California and Sean Dunshee of Bakersfield, California.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Ellis Rowe, in 2017, and parents Dorotha Beth (Davie) and David Giles Dunshee.
Leslie was born September 27, 1954 in Susanville, California. She graduated from Bullard High School in 1972 and was the 1972 Prom Queen. She was also a Bullard Letter Girl.
She married Jimmy Stout in 1978 in Fresno, California. They had Steven and Sarah.
She worked for the Fresno Police Department as a dispatcher.
She, Steven and Sarah moved to Littleton, Colorado in 1994. She began working for the Denver Police department as the Lead Dispatcher in June 1994 retiring in December 2017. She married Terry Ellis Rowe in 1988.
Leslie deeply loved her family, traveling and the outdoors. She treasured her two grandchildren. Leslie loved animals and enjoyed time with her cherished labs. She grew up in California enjoying the beach, sailing and played competition softball.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. November 9th, 2019 at Olinger at Chapel Hill 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, Colorado, 80121.
