Larry Fredrick Landis was born May 19, 1941, in Lewistown, PA. He graduated from Lewistown High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He served four years at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver. He married Jean Lynette Westerberg on November 19, 1966, at the Denver University Chapel. He became a glazier and worked 39 years at Gump Glass. His passion was his Lord, his family, and golf!
Larry went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeannie, and their children, Elizabeth (Mark) Ayen and Jeffrey (Tonya) Landis. The delights of his life were his bride and his seven grandchildren, Dani Landis, Rebecca McFarland, Zack Ayen, and J.J., Ty, Tessa, and Tara Landis. He is also survived by two nephews and ten nieces scattered throughout North America. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ronald and June Landis, his sister, Mary Ann Fultz, and his brother, Harold R. Landis, all of Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 28, at 2:00 pm. The service will be at Connections Church, 2121 Dad Clark Drive in Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. Internment will be at a later date.
