Larry Michael Barton passed away on September 11, 2022 after a courageous and hard-fought battle against pancreatic cancer.
A Colorado native, Larry was born April 22, 1948 in Denver and grew up in Englewood. Larry was a proud graduate of Englewood High School and The University of Denver, earning a Bachelors in Accounting. Larry became a CPA and spent 30 years as a Certified Financial Forensic Accountant at Duree Barton.
Larry was loved by his high school sweetheart and wife of 54 years, Nancy (Seams) Barton. His two daughters Darcy Kessler (John) and Mandy Moscatelli (Ross) were his pride and joy. Larry was the world’s best Papa to Cade, Jack, Carson and Brianna. He adored spending time with his grandchildren, especially on the golf course. Larry loved playing golf with his OG3 group, soaking in his hot tub and celebrating with a martini.
Larry is also survived by his brother Steven (Peggy), brothers-in-law Larry Seams (Nancy) and Tony Ipson, nephews Eric Seams, Sean Seams, John Rupp (Caron), Corry Ipson (Amy) and nieces Gwen Dannenbaum (Derrick), Molly Barton, Heather Seams, Mandi Hamilton (Jim), Bekah Freidell (Bill) and Delaney Rupp.
A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Monday, October 3 at Arrowhead Golf Course in the tent pavilion from 2:00–5:00pm. Family and friends are welcome to join in the celebration of Larry’s wonderful life.
