Ladonna Mae Rolston

She was born November 24,1929 in Bluffton, OH to Donald and Verna Stackpole. At the age of 2 months she moved to Colorado where she considered herself as a native of CO.

It was in Colorado that she met her true love Eugene (Gene) Rolston. They were married April 1, 1949, she always joked saying two fools got married that day. In May of 1952 their first child was born Eileen Dexter (Gail). In March of 1954 their second child Keith Rolston (DeeDee) was born. And, in 1959 their third child Gail Lynn Rowan (Peter) was born. This completed the family and they continued to live in Aurora, CO until 1998 when she moved to Brighton, CO where she lived until she passed.

She was blessed with a long happy life where she enjoyed many things including gardening, crocheting/needle work, and painting (oil and acrylic). She loved to watch her family grow as well and the many things they all did.

She has three children Eileen (Gail), Keith (DeeDee), and Gail Lynn (Peter), seven grandchildren, Stephanie Jones (Eric), Stephen Dexter (Christy), Chris Rowan (Ginny), Josh DiPaolo, Dan Rowan, Jorji Esgro (Jason Hayes), and Jez DiPaolo, 12 great grandchildren Krista Jones, Amanda Jones, Dominique Ward, Anthony Ward, Jack Dexter, Anthony Dexter, and Cora Dexter, and one great-great grandchild Rhys Soper-Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and in-laws, and her two brothers. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed dearly by all.

Services for LaDonna will be Friday August 4, 2023 at 10:00 at Olinger Cemetery (Chapel Hill). This will be a graveside service for family and close friends.

Then on Saturday August 5, 2023, at 10:30 at Zion Congregational Church in Brighton, CO (401 S 27th Ave) with a gathering to follow.
