Dear Swanson family,
 After 38 years of being your neighbors. There are lots of memories we have of your family.  Our favorite is when Judy finally got Kel to travel!   So happy you  made so many beautiful memories together.  Our most treasured memory is Kel’s  train set.  Kel gave our grandson his trains and they ran many miles through our home, night and day,…… day and night.

To Judy and the girls although it’s been less of decade of knowing your family we will always remember your gracious hosting and warm acceptance from Kal and your family. The Tardif family from Buffalo. 

I have been Kel and Judy’s accountant for 27 years.  What a pleasure it was to work with Kel during his years running the Pepperidge Farm business and after his retirement helping Kel and Judy through this transition.  Kel and Judy always shared their travel plans and upcoming adventures with me during our time together.  Through the years I came to know their daughters Kelli and her family and Kristin.  What a wonderful father you had.  Remember, you will always be Daddy’s little girls.

My first memory of meeting Uncle Kel was great confusing for me as a young child…. “Is that Papa? It can’t be… but it looks just like him!” My wonderment grew, and I learned THIS is Papa’s brother. Even through distance, and growing families, they managed to maintain similar mannerisms, facial expressions and even humor. 

As I grew older, and was able to spend more time with Uncle Kel, I knew the Swanson Men were the best men I have ever known. So caring, thoughtful, and most of all would do anything for their family. Even thought I’m his Great Niece, he always welcomed me and my family, and we were never at a loss for conversation. 

When we visited in 2013, Kel and Judy took us to a Rockies game, and it was so much fun… except for the car ride. lol for a nervous passenger like me driving with a Swanson is super scary.

Love to Judy, Kathy, Kelly, and Krissy. I love you all and so saddened by his loss. He will forever be in my heart. Love and prayers.
