Keith was born in December 26, 1963 in Denver Co. to David and Pauline Shaffer. He was one of 4 children and raised in Broomfield Co.
He graduated from Broomfield high school and then went to UNC. He worked at You Can Home Medical and over the years worked many other places including lots of shoe stores because of his love for shoes.
He touched the heart of everyone he met. He made the time to show up for everyone that reached out to him. He simply wanted to brighten lives in his days and that he surely did.
Kindness felt like it was his middle name.
He had a great sense of humor and a great personality.
He was so crazy and funny. He was the most loving, caring, compassionate, generous, child like person you could ever meet.
He was a huge Denver Broncos fan. He loved going to all the home games. He loved wrestling and all sports. He loved Darth Vader, loved his shoes, loved his Mountain Dew and his funky grooves.
Keith met Mary in November 2017 and got married in July of 2019. He accepted her boys as his own and deeply loved them all with all his heart. Keith and Mary were truly soulmates, deeply in love and inseparable. They were best friends and they looked forward to a long happy life together.
Anyone that knew Keith knew that he was the most loving husband, son, father, sibling and friend any family could ever ask for. His sense of humor was second to none and he was as compassionate as he was funny. He represented the good that we all need everyday in our lives.
Keith is survived by his wife Mary and their 4 boys Daniel, Eric, Thomas and Michael. His Mother Pauline, Father in law Tom and Mother in law Mary. His siblings Mike and Cindy. In-laws, nephews and nieces as well as extended family and friends. He touched so many people in his short life who loved him dearly and helped him become the person he was.
