After graduating from high school Kathy went on to pursue a career in nursing. She was a trailblazer when she decided to further her education and graduated from the University of Colorado Nurse Practitioner Program. She was well respected and loved by her patients and colleagues alike.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She attended St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, where she met her husband Theodore C. Dreyer. Being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was so important to Kathy, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent role model ~ supportive, kind, witty, and absolutely hilarious.
Kathy was preceded in death by husband Charles Miller, son, Russell Gene Enloe and her parents Bert and Jeanne Peacock. She is survived by her husband, Theodore C. Dreyer, her children Gary (Carrie) Enloe, Kristen Heidenfelder, her grandchildren Katherine (John) Enloe-Rexroth, Tanner Enloe, Colton Heidenfelder, Iris (Christopher) Burris, and great-granddaughters Quinn Rexroth and Isla Rexroth, her stepchildren Jeffrey Miller, William (Lee) Miller, Steven (Judy) Dreyer, Sandi (Gary) Coate, and siblings Lizabeth (Bob) Larson, Barb (Jon) Hulet, Bert Peacock and Tom (Theresa) Peacock.
The funeral service will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church 8817 S. Broadway, Littleton, CO 80129 on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
Mother, you have touched so many lives and you will forever be in our hearts. You will be missed, until we meet again…. Rest in peace.
A committal ceremony for Kathy will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10:30am to 11:00am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236.
