John Willard Miller, Sr. of Littleton, passed away on October 9, 2014 at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Hermalinda and his cherished son Timothy. Survived by his children John W. (Donna Deffenbaugh) Miller Jr., Douglas Miller and Candace Miller; his grandchildren Michael (Dusty) Miller, Amanda (Robert Bradford), Rebecca Anderson, Zacharia Anderson and Elijah (Kiersten) Anderson, six great-grandchildren, his brothers Bobby and David Miller, and his constant companion Rascal.
Friends and family may call at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 4-7PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2PM at the mortuary. The Mile High Honor Guard of the United States Air Force will offer honors at the graveside immediately following the funeral at the burial in the adjacent cemetery.
