Beverly and John were among the first people to welcome us when we moved to Building 215 in Heather Gardens. He was such a kind, gentle man. God Bless you Beverly for the care you gave him.

John was a wonderful man!  Enjoyed being with him and Beverly at Mike & Lyn's home on holiday occasions.  He enjoyed watching the kids play and conversing with family and friends.  Loved to see him smile and laugh, he was quite the character.  John you will surely be missed but never forgotten.

So many wonderful memories of my amazing Grandpa. I remember when he took me to my first baseball game. The Rockies were playing the Pittsburgh Pirates. His love for the sport was contagious. I will always remember that great day and the many others we shared. Rest in peace and keep watch!

So many wonderful memories of a very special, fun and funny man... First time I met him was for dinner at their home. We finished eating, then he asked if I wanted cake and ice cream. I replied sure, to which he said, "Oh sorry, we don't have any!" with a twinkle in his eye. We're going to miss that twinkle! Rest In Peace, Dad, and watch over us - just as you always have.

Our condolences to John's family!  He was a very cool man!! Enjoyed his company on many occasions!  RIP John.  Our thoughts are with you, Beverly.

Mike and Wayne please know that I have the deepest sympathy for you as you experience and reflect upon the loss of your father.  I have many pleasant memories of time spent with John and his sharing stories of his experiences as a gunner during WWII.  Also many memories  of John sharing the fruits of his garden with me and my family in summers past.
