John Louis Dodson

He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on November 2, 1961. John graduated from Arvada West High School in 1980; he then went on to earn his Business Administration degree from Metro State College. Following graduation he attended the Police Academy in Jefferson County.

He had a career in law enforcement with the Avon and Vail Police Departments where he attainted the rank of lieutenant.

The family then moved to Highlands Ranch where he was employed as a Team Leader at Coors.

He is survived by his wife Susan Dodson of Highlands Ranch; his son Jacob Dodson who attends the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; and his son Max Dodson who is in 3rd Grade. He is also survived by his father, Chuck Dodson (Sandy); his brothers: Dave (LaRae), Jim (Renee), Scott (Mary Pat) and his sister Carol Johnson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carol and his brother Charles Michael Dodson.
