JoAnne was born November 25, 1930 in Liberal Kansas, to her mother Anna Williamson and father Gerald Williamson. She was an only child. She was raised by her grandmother Rhoda Smith, where she lived in Liberal until she went to college. She attended Wichita State University. She was in a Sorority at WSU. She met Al Craver in college. They married June 25, 1950, and were married for 59 years. She lived in Wichita until 1965 when they moved to Colorado.
JoAnne had many jobs while raising her children. She worked as a substitute teacher, sold Avon, was a bookkeeper for Irene Britton and worked in the office at St. Mary’s Academy. In 1988, after her children were grown, she worked as a Natural Nail Consultant/Coordinator for Amera. That job became a passion. She retired from Amera in 2012.
JoAnne attended church regularly as well as attending and leading Women’s Bible Studies. She became a Christian as a young adult, believing in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.
She is survived by her daughters Julee and Vic Sparks and Lorri and Bernie O’Connell. Her grandchildren Matthew Sparks, Emily Mallory, Alison Singer, Nicole Kamman, Ashley Osborne, Alec Wray, David Craver, Mayry Craver, Hannah Hamilton, Faith Minter and Moriah Craver. As well as 13 great-grandchildren.
Her whole family was deeply loved by her.
Predeceased by her husband Al Craver, October 19, 2009, and her son Dirk Craver, July 7, 2021.
