I didn't keep up with the family very well and found this sad news.  He was always so much fun at the cabin get-togethers every Father's Day.  So many awesome memories.  Think of those days often. Jim you will be missed. Jim and I were playmates between the ages of 3 & 6 when we lived on Bannock St. We would catch Horny Toads and let them ride down his driveway in our toy trucks Attended Jr. High & Hi School together. When Jim was working for the phone co. he installed a phone at my house in the 70's. I regret that the only time we would see each other is when we working on or at a High School reunion. Jim did an amazing job, at our 50th class reunion, as MC  at the Eagles.Dave and Christeen Parrent.

We were so saddened to learn of Jim's death.  We had so much fun as young marrieds going to parties, especially at Jerry and Judy Willis' house. I'll always remember Jim's comic routine at the Gong Show fund raiser at Bethany around 82-83. Unexpected and very funny. Dedicated family man, role model and fellow outdoorsman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you remember your husband,father and grandfather.

Very Sorry to hear about Jim. I remember Jim very well. He was a frame man at Ltn. C.O. when I was a cable splicer. I bought Jims elk hound when he lived on the corner of Shepard street. One of the funniest things I remember Jimmy doing with his grandchildren was one summer, when the kids were in our 4' above ground swimming pool, and Jim was watching them from the side. He was trying to grab them and tease them, by acting like a shark.  All of a once of a sudden, he took his wallet and car keys out of his pockets, climbed the pool ladder, and got right in the pool, clothes, baseball hat and all.  You could hear the kids screaming with delight, for blocks!  What a wonderful grandfather, father, and husband, he was.  Love you Jimmy Wade.

Even though I also graduated from Englewood High School our paths didn't cross until I went to work for the phone company.  I was blessed to have worked with Jim.  No matter what the day brought you could count on Jim being the rock that held it together and his smile lit the room up.  He truly touched many lifes in a positive way.  Lucy

You know how very much Lucy and I love our dear friend Jim and you. We could never think of one of you without thinking of the other. You as individuals and as a couple lived the example of how Christ would have us be as spouses, parents, grandparents and friends. We will miss all our times together - Sunday school, Bible studies, meals, fishing trips and just hangin' out. I was thinking about my Uncle Jim today remembering so many fun times we had as a family:  Screaming contests, ghost stories around the camp fire, tree houses, scary workshops, wonderful hugs, Denver Bears' games, a mutual love of Wyoming and the Broncos, and so many more.
