Jim was born on November 2, 1948, in Hays, KS. Jim spent his early years in Madison, Kansas - graduating from Madison High School. He continued his education at Emporia State College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Jim worked as a Human Resources Professional in Colorado and Virginia. He eventually made his way to Phoenix where he began his retirement. Jim played golf, hunted for “treasurers” with his buddies and loved watching football. He was an avid fan of the Kansas State Wildcats and the Denver Broncos. He looked forward to his annual trip to Manhattan to watch KSU play and hang out with his family and friends.
Jim is survived by his daughter Lori (Alan), son Jeff (Carolyn), grandchildren Kayla, Kelly, and Camden, great granddaughter TJ, brother John (Diane), nephew Chris, niece Stacey (Adam/Rachel/Whitney) and many cousins.
Jim was proceeded in death by his parents Justin and Geraldine and his loving grandson Justin.
Jim will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A private ceremony will be held on September, 17th at Mount Lindo Cemetery in Morrison, CO.
