Ellen J. Riley

Ellen J. (Burdick) Riley, age 99 of Wheat Ridge, died Monday, August 20, 2012. Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121 with burial to follow at the cemetery.

Ellen was born in Denver on April 16, 1913. She married Orville Riley on April 16, 1932. He preceded her in death April 22, 1984.

She had been a long time member of the Berkeley Presbyterian Church and taught Sunday school. Besides being a homemaker, she was a Girl Scout leader for several years, and she was an Avon Representative in her neighborhood for many years.

She is survived by three children, 2 daughters, Louise Eson and Ellen Dattilo (Tony), and a son, Gerald Riley (Judy), 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
