He was born on October 5, 1943 to parents Edward Thomas Siemek and Barbara Jean Lassek from Nebraska. As well as being a veteran of the United States Army, he was also a devoted father, grandfather and brother who enjoyed collecting Nebraska memorabilia and watching college football. Ed was a fixture on the highways and byways of Colorado, having started Rocky Mountain Damage Appraisers for 30 years before retiring. He loved gardening and BBQ’s with his family.
Ed will be dearly missed and is survived by his wife Halina Siemek, together for 25 years. His sister, Elaine Sluder and her husband, Lucky. As well as Halina’s sister, Ela Polinowska. His sons, Kenneth J. Siemek, Thomas E. Siemek, Timothy J. Siemek. His daughter, Kristina Philllips. Grandchildren Tristian Siemek, Kacey Siemek, Jasmine Siemek, Kevin Brown, Jeremiah Siemek, Erika Siemek, Kayla Siemek, Elizabeth Siemek, Joseph Siemek, and 11 great grandchildren.
Ed was preceded in death by his son, Remic Toronczak and most recently, by his brother Raymond Siemek.
