Dylan was born on July 10, 1992, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Stephanie Collins and Jere Ford, was a true Coloradan at heart. He moved here shortly after his birth. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our beloved son, brother, father, and friend who left us way too soon.
Dylan was passionate about life. He loved his job as a truck driver. He thrived on the satisfaction of a hard day’s work. After work Dylan was passionate about his Colorado sports, particularly his beloved Broncos. This time of year was his favorite in the Mile High City. He would be found most weekends cheering for his daughter on the soccer fields on Saturday and his Broncos on Sundays - even through the toughest seasons. Dylan was fiercely loyal to anything he loved!
What truly set Dylan apart was his exceptional ability to bring joy to those around him. His laughter filled a room and his sense of humor was infectious; he could make anyone laugh with his quick wit and lighthearted spirit.
On December 24, 2014, Dylan’s world was forever changed with the arrival of his greatest joy, his daughter Rylee. Born to him and his girlfriend, Katy McNamer. Rylee became the center of his universe. His devotion to Rylee was unwavering, his time with her was cherished above all else. He was a doting father, and Rylee was truly his world.
Dylan is survived and deeply missed by a loving family who held him close to their hearts. His daughter, Rylee, was the shining star of his life. He leaves behind his mother, Stephanie Collins, their unbreakable bond brought immeasurable joy and the love he left her will forever warm her heart, and stepfather, Steve Collins, who provided unwavering love and support. Dylan's father, Jere Ford, shared a special bond with him. Dylan's brother and best friend, Colton Ford, and his little sister, Jensen Ford, cherished their time together and will forever feel his absence. Yet, they find solace in knowing that he will always reside in their laughter and in the warmth of their hearts, an enduring presence guiding them through life's journey.
Dylan is also survived by his step-sisters, Rachael, Sarah and Leah Collins who not only added to his life but also created cherished moments filled with laughter and love.
His Maternal Grandparents, Gerald and Gail Pope, and Paternal Grandpa Val Ford and Step Grandma Jane Ford, were unwavering in their love and would have done anything for him. He was met at the gates of heaven by his maternal grandma, Carol Ford, and they are together again. His Aunts Shelley Pope and Annie Ford, were a constant source of support, always there, fighting for him in every challenge he faced. He was loved and adored by all.
His Girlfriend Katy McNamer, whom he loved dearly since the day the met and gave him the greatest blessing of all their daughter, Rylee.
He leaves behind numerous other extended family members who were touched by his presence and will forever hold his memory dear.
Dylan’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love and an unyielding zest for life. Though we mourn our loss, we celebrate the beautiful mark he has left on our lives.
Dylan showed such strength and determination to rebuild his life after surviving a fall in May 2023 that left him a paraplegic. He faced this challenge with such courage, finding a new love for life along the way.
