Our precious miracle Colin Andrew Williamson left this world on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Colin was born in Tel'manove, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, on September 15, 2002 and was adopted by his parents on November 28, 2004. He was a 2021 graduate of 5280 High School in Denver.
Although he was born in Eastern Ukraine, his strong ties with his extended family made Louisiana feel like his birthplace. Colin was gifted with an incredibly outgoing personality and often joked that he could “sell water to a fish.” He was quick-witted and super sharp. He loved cars and could name the make and model of all luxury cars that he passed on the street. He enjoyed playing many sports throughout his life, including basketball, baseball, lacrosse, and hockey. He was quite skilled with any task involving his hands, and he also enjoyed landscaping, photography, and finance.
He is survived by his parents Laurie and Kevin Williamson and his sister Mary Camille Williamson of Centennial; grandparents Kathy and Steve Campbell of Covington, Louisiana; Jerry Williamson of Metairie, Louisiana; and Joyce and Lawrence Thibodeaux of Prairieville, Louisiana; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m., preceded by the Holy Rosary at 6:00 at All Souls Catholic Church, 4950 S. Logan Street, Englewood, Colorado, 80113.
Donations can be made in Colin’s name to Mother Cabrini Shrine’s Capital Campaign.
