Blanche Marie Stegman was born July 3, 1931 in Denver to George and Jennie (Kobilan) Soneff. She passed away December 16, 2022 in Greeley. She spent her early years in Denver, graduating from Manual High School. She married Ferman “Bud” Stegman in 1952. Over the years she worked in banks, in the family business “Popsi’s”, and as a sales representative for everything from business advertising to funeral plans. Her favorite job titles though were wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed camping, fishing, family gatherings, and dancing. Lots of polka dancing.
Blanche is survived by her two daughters and their spouses – Denise Kinney (David) and Yvonne Sapp (Steve). Six grandchildren and spouses – Dina Fieweger (Jeff Hart); Amber Johnson (Chuck); Ron Koch (Michelle); Crystal Sinner (Jeff); Amanda Bales (Josh); Alex Kinney (Emily). 10 great grandchildren – Kody Fieweger, Hunter Fieweger, Alicia Saddler, Preston Koch, Dawson Bales, Kallen Bales, Colton Kinney, Madison Koch, Luka Bales, and Owen Kinney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law Betty Soneff. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bud, brothers George, John, and Ed Soneff, sister-in-law Beverly Soneff.
A memorial is scheduled for Friday, December 30, 2022, at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S Colorado Boulevard, Centennial, CO 80121. Visitation at 9:30am, Celebration of Life at 10:30am, Committal Service at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1pm.
