Sunday morning June 12th, 2022, after battling multiple health issues in the last year of her life.
Born on October 19th, 1940, in Englewood, Colorado. Bea is best remembered as being a staple
member in her large family taking pride in sharing stories both big and small for all who would
listen and laugh with her on the trials and wins of those she loved deeply. Bea had many
leisurely hobbies that she enjoyed on top of being an active member in her family including
gardening, reading, thrifting, game shows, and her daily cup of coffee. Bea was an active
member in the communities around Littleton and Englewood seemingly appearing as a local
celebrity with the innumerous connections she made over her working life with her name still
catching the attention of many in the community. Being an October baby, Bea loved Halloween
with her birthday sometimes resembling more of a Halloween party than a birthday party as it
was adorned with Jack-O-Lanterns and other festively spooky things that she relished
unwrapping on her special day. Holidays were the most important times for her since it
combined her love of family, kids, generosity, and sharing something delicious to gather around
and eat. As winter made way to spring and summer so did her celebrations with not a summer
going by without her hosting memorable barbeques and fun conversations surrounded by
flowers and a gentle breeze whisking through the windchimes in a symphony of summer.
Bea is preceded in death by her father Hipolito Esquibel and her mother Maria Mares
Esquibel of Colorado, her sister Virginia Brandon of Nevada, brother Joe Esquibel of Colorado,
sister Helen Thomas of Colorado and sister Kathy Wilson of Colorado. Bea is survived by her
sister Sadie Medina of Colorado, Viola Vigil of Colorado, brother Herman Esquibel of California,
brother Dr. Antonio Esquibel Sr. of Colorado, sister Betty Esquibel of Colorado, sister Linda
Esquibel of Colorado, sister Susan DeHerrera of Colorado and brother Paul Esqubel jr. of

youngest son Ernest Ronald Evans. Bea is survived by her three other children, son Anthony
Evans (Wife Erin Evans; Wife Wendy Evans, Passed 2005) of Colorado, son Michael Pacheco of
Georgia, and daughter Dawn Evans Ford (husband Steve Ford) of California. Bea was a
grandmother to ten grandchildren: Nicholas Evans, Erin Chavez, Liam Campbell, Adrian Pacheco,
Joe Pacheco, Ashley Godwin, Phillip Pacheco, Lauren Brant, Joshua Ford and Timothy Weber.
She was a great grandmother to five great grandchildren: Benjamin and Ellie Chavez, Caden and
Eli Pacheco and Madison Pacheco. She was a beloved aunt and great aunt to many nieces and
nephews that she would constantly talk about fondly as they were loved the same as if they
were her own children.
More than anything else Bea will best be remembered and celebrated as a person whose personality converged many to her presence as she truly became a beacon of joy that needed to
be experienced firsthand. When looking to celebrate her each year after her passing please look
towards her love of flowers and the colors purple and red by planting something special in your
gardens and containers so that you can look to her favorite sunny spot and smile knowing she
will always be in our hearts. Thank you and go with love and flowers.
An invitation to the Celebration of Life for Beatrice Evans will be extended by her family at a
later date.
