Arthur Roy "Art" Hayes, age 91, of Littleton, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Art was born April 24, 1927 in Akron, Colorado to Maude (Gould) Hayes and Raymond Roy Hayes, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his first wife of 62 years, Ruby Louise "Lou" (Hayes) Hayes; his brother, Leland Gould "Bud" Hayes and sister, Wilma (Hayes) Fassler; and his second wife of 3 years, Alvera (Kleweno) Hayes. Art is survived by his sons, Raymond Hayes of Littleton, CO and Glenn Hayes of Palmer Lake, CO; his sisters, Lorraine Bayer of Eaton, CO and Georgia Douglas of Holyoke, CO; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 8, 2019 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life Reception in the Summit Room. Art will be laid to rest at Littleton Cemetery.
