Hiel and wife Susan; grandfather of Jason Eldridge, Brandon Maccherone, Dara Oriolo, Travis Maccherone, Amanda Hiel Spurrier, Kory Hiel, Justin Reymann, Rebecca Reymann, Colin Reymann; great-grandfather of Tristan Eldridge, Xavier, Violet and Georgia Maccherone, Dominic and Mason Oriolo; brothers Richard, Robert Hiel and Richard (Dickie) Bauer, and sisters Dolly Polly and Helen Woods. Predeceased by wife Elma K. Hiel, (nee Thomas) and brothers James and Joesph.
Friends may call for a gathering at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home, located at 1630 Edmonson Avenue, Catonsville MD, Friday, July 20, 2012, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, July 21, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster, MD, 21157. Donations may be made in Bill’s name to Carroll Hospital Center, Believe in Tomorrow, Movable Feast, or a charity of your choice. Interment will be private.
