On October 28, 2020; Roy Smith Ritter passed away. Born on April 21, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Roy and Anna (nee Smith) Ritter, he had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He is the beloved husband of Lucienne Ritter; loving father of Beverly Asplen and her husband Brennan, Jr., Ronald Ritter and his wife Jeanna, and Sandra Walsh; cherished grandfather of Brennan Asplen, III, Deborah Nickerson, Sherry Hogan, Susan Heggie, Dawn Ritter, Becky Ridgeway, Stacey Carter, Brittany Walsh, and Melissa Saucedo; devoted great grandfather of 14 great grandchildren with one on the way, and 4 great great grandchildren with one on the way. Roy was an Army Veteran who had served during World War II. During his working years, he worked and retired from B&O Railroad.
