Richard M. Greenwell

Richard Greenwell (GaGa), age 87, of Catonsville, MD, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by Myrna Lee Hart-Greenwell (July 2018), loving father of Donna Robinson, Michael Miser, Sherry Furr, Ricky Greenwell, Debbie Chance and the late Raymond Miser, devoted grandfather of Chrissie, Nikki, Amanda, Tyler, Crystal, Misty, Justin, Christopher, Jessica, Stephen, Scott, Kevin, Barbara, Krystal, Larry, and the late Amanda and 13 great grandchildren. Richard was above all a “family man”. He was never too busy to throw a ball, play a game, or fix anything (if he couldn’t fix it, it wasn’t broken). It didn’t matter what he was doing as long as he was doing something with his children, grandchildren or great grandchildren. He adored and loved Myrn/Mertz and would do anything humanly possible to make her smile. He had a passion for music and loved playing the drums, guitar and keyboard. He also enjoyed boating and created many memories that the family will cherish forever. He was loved by many and will be forever missed.

A visitation for Richard will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc..
