Patty attended and graduated from St. Joseph Monastery Parochial School, I.N.D. High School and Notre Dame of MD University. She was taught by the S.S.N.D nuns for all of those years.
She entered the S.S.N.D order of nuns just out of high school and taught in grade school in NY, FL, PA, and in Baltimore, MD for 38 years as a S.S.N.D nun. The majority of her years of teaching were at Our Lady of Good Counsel School in Locust Point, Baltimore, MD.
Patty had a very fervent devotion to the Blessed Mother and in her last years always had a rosary in her hands. She also had a great belief in our Guardian Angels and so many devotions of our Catholic Faith.
Patty had an infectious laugh, a great sense of humor, strong family ties, and a great love for children.
During her last 8 years at Little Sisters of the Poor, Patty was a member of the Bell Chime group, loved to sing and join in the many activities offered. Bingo was one of her favorites.
When her health allowed, Patty also loved to be of service to other residents at Little Sisters of the Poor, helping them in classes, activities, and in anyway needed.
May Our Everlasting Lord enfold you with His Love and grant you Eternal Rest.
In lieu of flowers may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 601 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228.
