Michael Dennis Paul, 53, was born on June 26, 1969 to Frank Paul and Pamela Bouwens (Mosher) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After Mike graduated from Northview High School in 1987, he attended Kent Skills Technical Center where he learned the electrical trade. In 2010, he started working at the Social Security Administration as an Information Technology Specialist and moved to Catonsville, Maryland. His boss, Don Walsh, described Mike as brilliant and he could solve any problem.
Mike and Jennifer moved to Catonsville where they made a life in their home that they adored. He built a beautiful gazebo and made his backyard a quiet sanctuary. After the floods of 2018, their front yard was washed away. He worked with his good friend Chris Eby to build a large retaining wall with beautiful landscaping. He was so proud of their home. Mike also loved animals, he took care of feral cats, building them shelters and ensuring they had a nice life. They even took in twin feral kittens Smokey and Bandit, whom they loved so much.
