Mary C. (Newell) Bolte passed away peacefully on April 25, 2021. She was the former wife of John T. Bolte, Army veteran. Mary was preceded in death by her three sisters, Rita (Newell) Sanders, Regina (Newell) Metcalf, and Leona (Newell) Saunders, and her two brothers, Norbert Newell and Leo Newell. Mary was a life-long member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church and was known for her love and desire to care for her family, the joy she showed when surrounded by her grandchildren, her kindness and generosity, and her deep Catholic faith which she passed on to many family members and friends. She loved to bake and provided many delicious cakes and desserts for family gatherings. Mary is survived by her daughter Kathy and her husband Robin, grandchildren Kristin, Adam, and Rebecca, seven great-grandchildren, as well as many nephews and nieces. Many precious and humorous stories will be told about Mary to keep her in the hearts of her family members.
Visitation will be at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 5422 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21229 on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 10:30AM-11:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.
