Linda’s family came to Maryland in 1962. In 1967, she graduated Catonsville High School and had called Catonsville her home ever since. She met her husband, Robert (Bob) Knight Sr., during their high school years and married October 9, 1971. This was a deeply true love by any measure that never faded.
Linda’s greatest joy in life was supporting and caring for her family in an unwavering, selfless way.
Beyond making a warm and loving home, Linda worked in several administrative and professional positions over the years. None more rewarding than her time as Career Counselor for students at the Community College of Baltimore County from 1993 to 2008.
Linda enjoyed nothing more then spending time with her two treasured granddaughters, lunches with the ladies, and staying active. She cherished her time relaxing with her dog Aiden. Sometimes, she even enjoyed the company and affection of her husband of 51 years.
Her greatest impact was spreading joy and happiness to everyone she met. Linda always put others first. Even in her final days, while enduring so much, she was more concerned about her family and the wonderful nurses that were taking care of her.
Linda is survived by her doting and grateful husband Bob Sr., daughter Katie Lichtenstein and her husband Mark, their two beautiful daughters Emilee and Anna, and son Bob Knight Jr. and his wife Mindy.
Linda is also survived by her close and beloved sister Ann (Maus) Hearn and Husband Ed along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly close friends.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Robert Maus.
