On January 3, 2013, LAURA MAE GODMAN (nee Wolf); 94, of Catonsville, passed away. She is the beloved wife of the late William L. Godman Jr.; loving mother of William L. III and his late wife Karen and the Rev. Cody L. and his wife Suzette; cherished grandmother of five grandchildren and their spouses and 16 great grandchildren; dear sister of the late Hazel Merbler, Vivian Brown, Cody and Willard Wolf Sr.; sister in law of Fred Godman, Thelma Lynch and the late Warren Godman. She spent most of her life as a resident of Catonsville, graduating from Catonsville High School in 1937. She was a homemaker and loved caring for her family.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 7th from 3-5 & 7-9PM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC.; 1630 Edmondson Avenue; Catonsville, MD 21228; where a funeral service will be held 10AM, Tuesday, January 8th. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to a church or charity of your choice.
